What’s Next?

We’re now home and back to the daily routine already.  The final travel day was pretty uneventful.  The QME was returned to the rental agency – ready for her next voyage.  The airline delivered us back to the Indy airport with only a half hour delay.  I don’t usually choose flights that get us back to home at 1:00 AM and it took me a day to recover.  The trip was awesome and I’m glad we did it.  I’m already in the planning stages for the next adventure – out west once again.  Unfortunately the time has come for me to move from two wheels to three wheels.  That makes me a little sad but this is a necessary move for safety and comfort.  It won’t diminish my fun or my anticipation of wide open spaces.

I took all 17 hat pins and put them on my map.  I need a bigger map.  The pins wouldn’t all fit in the Utah, Nevada, California, Arizona spots on the map I have.  I took a step back and tried to look for openings in the map.  It seems to me that North Dakota is in dire need of a pin or two.

There are lots of areas to explore and it’s time for me to stop rambling and get on with the planning.

This is what my map looked like before the trip to Southern Utah.

The map after the trip. I need a bigger map - not everything would fit in Utah, NV, AZ.
